About Made In Abyss
Made in Abyss is one of the Akihito Tsukushi’s popular manga series, which began serialization in 2012. As of July 2020, a total of nine editions of the manga had been released in the Tagashobo digital publication. In 2017, and was selected for a 13-part anime adaptation by Kinema Citrus.
The animated series has been hailed and criticized by millions of fans around the world. So shortly after the start of the first season, his studio announced a renewal of the sequel. However, contrary to what fans expected, it came as an anime movie.
The sequel, titled Made Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul, premiered in theatres in January 2020 and continues the story of the first season. Kinema Citrus had already released two compilation films (from season 1) to the screen in January 2019.

Kinema Citrus, a Japanese animation studio, has only confirmed and it is set to be released very soon. They also confirmed that Production for the second time would not begin until the publication of volume 10 of the manga Made In Abyss.
Mangaka Akihito Tsukushi publishes only one volume of his manga each year. Therefore, the 10th volume could be released in the middle of next year. Made In Abyss Season 2 is released in Japan on July 17, 2020.
